We have just returned from our wonderful camping trip to Beaverlac - (The campsite is near Porterville on Grootfontein Farm in the Groot Winterhoek mountains, south of the Cederberg mountains, about two hours from Cape Town)
We packed up, 24 of us in total, and off we went on our annual ‘family’ holiday.
We enjoyed long walks in the rugged mountains, plenty of swimming in the fresh and beautiful rock pools, delicious meals and evening braais, an exciting night walk and most of all, time to be together, away from the daily routines and hustle and bustle of school life.
Beaverlac and going camping is always a highlight of the year for ALL the children and something we value and appreciate very much! We all came home tired and full of wonderful memories that will last a long time…
