It has been another wonderful season with the Fish Hoek Life Saving Club and many of the children improved their skills and became more passionate about the ocean and the beach.
At the end of the season awards ceremony on Saturday evening some of the HOKISA children were awarded with special certificates for their improvement in the swimming pool and they were given TYR swimming goggles to encourage them to work even harder next season. Thank you Phillipa Withington who raised money selling hot chocolate at Springfield Convent Swimming Training to spoil our children with these.
Thank you too to all the coaches, parents and friends at the Fish Hoek life saving club - a special thanks to the ladies in the kitchen, Heidi, Julie and Sandy - you always make us feel like very important members of the team!
Well done to Fundiswa, Kevin, Fundile, Zimi and Litha for all your hard work and effort - and to all the others children who participated and made us so proud!
